It'll only be seen as a waste if he fails to develop in to a useful player.

And Henry couldn’t score for GHod knows how many games when he came here initially and looked absolute pants.

But I do remember him playing for Monaco vs United in Europe and thought bloody heel he’s going to be one hell of a player
 
City ITKs saying they are front runners for Tonali and will offer 90m. Man I hope we can pivot to Wharton if Tonali isn't possible.

I mentioned I'd love us to go for him. We'd better get in there because his price is going up. He feels very complete, and with the side De Zerbi seems to be building it gives us great options.

Apparently we are not selling Bergvall?!!!!! I'll tell you, RDZ looks to me to be building a squad to go for it now. I mean next season. With the sheer quality in numbers we'd have each match day, there'd be no drop-off whatsoever (on paper!)...this is really intriguing..

I don't think Fernandes and Wharton could play together - they are too similar

Next down the list from Tonali in terms of similar player would probably be that Bergvall who Chelsea and Forest are chasing. He's playing against France tonight, so that might be a good chance to scout him

I don't believe in Lankshear, if you read my post I said he's an unknown for me in terms of ability. Honestly I doubt Lankshear will reach those levels mainly because as fan base we love to overrate our young players massively but other people who have actually watched him claim otherwise. I haven't so he's an unknown quantity for me.

We're still limited that we can only name 17 overseas players in the squad for the season, and its going to take some serve pruning to get down to that, especially with potentially 3 more incomings after Fernandes

We want a good passer, that isn't Bergvall. Bergvall potentially has utility long term and as an option but he shouldn't be our starting CM, he's lacking a bit too much currently.

I'm happy either way, if he stays and develops or we sell him and reinvest the money. I'm fine with either option.
