I have no idea if any of these links have any basis in actual reality but I don't believe you can consider yourself serious about your transfer business if you're trying to get things done on the last day of the window. It's just not the way an effective club works.

Lets be honest too, it's not the whole of January we've had either, you can do your ground work before January
 
If we're not signing anyone, recalling Moore or maybe there are players in the academy. Moore or Williams-Barnett could do a job coming on against a tiring defence imo.

Not sure there is much point of recalling Moore, he won't get that many minutes.

We are 1 game a week for most of the next 5/6 weeks

Our first team games have to come first. Unless we can recall outside the transfer window? Or can use a promising academy player. Moore would lose the loan experience, but gain in training with the first team, and make sub appearances in the PL and even CL possibly. We needed fresh legs in the last 2 games and there was no one to bring on.

I don't think its optional, we need to bolster the squad.
