Still have at least £130m to spend so they need to get their finger out.

Eze we agreed £60m for so we clearly have that sort of money.

Savinho we are offering £60m at the same time and are apparently willing to go to £70m so no excuses for not splashing the cash.
I doubt we have £130m to spend. Looking at what we have spent in total over last few summers and what we have spent so far this summer I think we will sign at most one more player. Possibly no more players as we have generally made max two "first team" signings on significant wages every summer and we have already done that so far in Kudus and Paulinha.

I get the school of thought where we should sign one. Would love Rogers to be that one player.

On the salaries part, just wondering what the impact of shifting Reggie, Forster and especially Sonny in this window will have on taking one more big salary onto the payroll. I checked the other day and Rogers is on £75k a week, contracted to 2030. His reasonably low salary is the only thing that gives me hope. He doesn't bleed Villa and has made previous moves in his career. There's always hope.

if levy's ambition is CL placings, he needs to fund the investments. all he has to do is to look at our injury list and the type of injuries we have now.
