Could we hijack Villa's deal for Ismaïla Sarr? If we have let Gil go out, he's a similar but more effective player. Has moments of genuine quality, idk whether he could sustain those moments or if he's destined to be a highlights player. Remember him looking exceptional against us a couple of years back.

St Maximum showed against City what we are missing, or what Conte would like imo. Someone who can breakup and disrupt well organised teams. Traore looks out of favour with us, probably after a conversation with Conte where he didn't show any humility when offered RWB. Ismaila Sarr represents a more diligent hard working version that would fit Conte well potentially, but can also become a real livewire player. Only 24.

Think what we need is another link player, creative player, more in the mould of Kulusevski. Not so much another dribbler.

Both players you mentioned can perhaps do both, on their day, when things are working for them. Not so sure the rest of the time.

Without Kulusevski, who operates as that link player and creative outlet. Only Kane. That gets shut down and we're left waiting for a dribbler to hopefully provide absolute magic.
 
I read something yesterday about us sending Reggie to Lazio on loan and then Milenkovic Savic coming to us for £51m. Can't remember which paper it was in

I think that's right. We have really fallen on our feet with Kulu, if he doesn't play it's big shoes to fill. A dribbler is pretty much like Moura playing, and hoping he has a good day.

Too add to Kulus qualities you mention, hes definitely a 10-15 goals a season man.

Oh yeah, goals and assists too for sure.

Would much rather have someone similar to him in style/role that fits into our setup than a "better" player that's more a diribbly running kind of player.

Still have only seen clips and stats of Malinovskyi, but I quite like what I've seen so far.

Seems like you’re describing an Eriksen type player and we didn’t snag him when we could have. Of course to play this kind of player someone else had to lose their place. Who would that be? We already have Bissouma surplus as things stand. Interesting to see Conte switch us to 3 in the middle. If we played that regularly we’d probably need an Eriksen type. Kane does often fulfil this role as does Bentancur from a deeper position.

I just think Sarr has talent. I wonder about his consistency but haven’t watched him enough to comment.

I wonder what the chances are of Reggie, Tanganga, Winks, Gil (Loan) and Pape Sarr (Probably Loan) all getting shifted by the deadline... In previous years we always seem to have struggled getting everyone out but this window it feels like everyone has some potential offers to leave.

If tanganga and gil go we need to bring in 2. Conte has made this clear in his press conferences.

I am fairly certain we're going to bring in the AM/RWF option, hoping it's not anyone we're already linked with, a surprise would be nice!

Wirtz although very unlikely. Tbh i don't watch that much of teams other than spurs. Could hijack the neto deal to tinkle off the gunners.

Conte will have a specific type of player in mind. He won't care if they can do x and y as long as they can do z to the standard he requires. So it might be someone none of us are that aware of.

Neto is obviously good but I don't think he's that good tbh, £50m being touted? maybe that isn't so bad. Much like you I don't watch a great deal outside of English football.

I know it's a bit of a running joke these days but I'd take Zaha in a flash, contract not got long left, potential deal to be had, HG - saves us him playing a blinder against us at least once a season...

Better just to get the year or two younger versions for a fraction of the price. In this case probably Alex Scott from Bristol City.
