As for City, their bench is more expensive than our whole squad, if you exclude Kane and Son. You need to have big money and most of them don't want to leave because they know they will be winning trophies. City is so based it can afford to sell Sterling for 50m to Chelsea because they are to far off to pose a threat.

Klusevski has been found out. Just stick to him hip to hip and he doesn't have the acceleration to pull away.
 
Going to be a very hard sell to bring players in established this summer given probably not in the CL. Forget the likes of Bastoni etc

Can see us going back down the 'project' route, which is no bad thing. Sign 21-24 year olds and build over 3-5 years.

Need the right sort of manager for that

Bastoni won’t leave Milan
We can get players who really want to be here first and foremost

And the right sort of scouting. Pre Paratici our hit rate on 21-24 year olds was dismal.

Richarlison has barely got onto the pitch this year, so I can't see Ferguson doing much more.

Perhaps if we can find a way to sign a GK, couple CBs and creative attacker then you move to Fergson, but cant imagine we have that financing capacity...and those other positions are 10x higher priority
