Transfer fred.

Richarlison has barely got onto the pitch this year, so I can't see Ferguson doing much more.

Perhaps if we can find a way to sign a GK, couple CBs and creative attacker then you move to Fergson, but cant imagine we have that financing capacity...and those other positions are 10x higher priority
Richarlison has been injured
And he is half of everything all of nothing
He is a bit of 9 and a bit of a wide forward
Ferguson future proofs the club long term
My only worry is he has already picked up minor niggles

Perhaps but splurging £30m or whatever on Ferguson cant be a priority with the other gaps which we have

It will be more than £30m ... they have been excellent getting prices in the market when buying and selling players

If we get him now he won't, if we wait till after they sell Estupinan; Mac Allister, Caicedo then it'll double.

Right now they need to balance by selling someone. We buy him early, they don't have to sell the others, everyone wins.

....apart from us next season perhaps when we still have Dier at CB or no creativity as a result of spending our available capital on a 3rd choice CF instead of fixing those problems (and even if that 3rd choice CF is a good player with a lot of potential)

He would be a starter playing in front of Kane with Kane at 10

Well Dier is getting a new contract.

Son is 30 and Richarlison can play on the left. Kane can play #10 if we don't get Maddison.

Chelsea spent 600m bit without a striker are toothless. Without Kane's goals we'd be fighting for survival. Strikers are like gold dust. Can pick functional defenders anywhere.

I don't buy these comments which are often made about Kane playing as a no 10.

Yes he has the skills to play there, but a no 10 in a 4-2-3-1 has much more running to do than we get from Kane, and more running than a 30 year old big unit is set up to do

Also feels odd to have one of the best no 9s in the world and change his position

He can easily play with someone next to him and has done.

It's more a case of him dropping into the space rather then him starting there. Currently when he does that it actually leaves us short at times as there is nobody in the box.

You can play someone up front with Kane and his game hardly change.

Thats different. You're talking about a front 2

GHod I hate Dier. Agree with everything else you wrote.

Apparently Madrid are letting Rudgier leave, he could do a Gallas type job for us. That Estonian kid along with Lenglet and Davies and then a promising defender. That would improve us defensively.

Obviously we need a coach that can coach.

Rudiger is still only 30 and some years left in him, would be great to get him but I'd say there will be a queue for him.
Think he'd help Romero too.

Didn't he leave on a free and get massive wages at Real? I can't see him giving up that contract, maybe a loan deal but they won't be able to sell him.
Plus he's a massive knob (although I suppose beggars can't be choosers)
