You know the nobs on this board who would boo, clear as day. usually the ones defneding them. If they REALLY deserve it then fine, but it's nil fudging nil, we're 4th in the league with the possibility of putting daylight to 5th!! We've lost our best defender, our best midfielder and our best attacker. And we have a few important inkuries this season. WHAT THE fudge DO YOU EXPECT?!?!?!

Without Dembele we just don't have enough imagination or pace through the middle which means that Wigan have been able to focus on stopping our wide players and in doing so, have pretty much nullified our main threat. On the plus side, Wigan should be winning by a couple of goals but they're not. We're still even with a whole half to play but we seriously need to step it up.

Just watched that moment a few times...given Sig's position and initial touches, I think Lennon thought he was going to turn back inside for a cross or drive/shot...I suppose we'd apportion 'blame' according to how we see it. I personally think that given his more central position, Sig should be looking back inside or at goal. There again, watch again and the real problem is about 3 or 4 of our players are NOT MOVING from the left INSIDE the covering defenders, or even looking to. If just one of them moves more centrally, it opens up a bit more space for him...
That is incorrect. He has attempted 20 passes, and 6 have failed.
All of his passes to the attacking third have failed (4).
In fact 12 of his successful passes were short to defenders.
