***Tottenham Hotspur VS Liverpool - Official OMT***

Just to follow up - saw this as a response to the comparison Totman copied over

Looking at this again, I think it pretty much says what I have known for a while - Spurs without Bale and Modric are an incredibly average side. Liverpool at full-strength side (Lucas, Gerrard, Suarez missing this season) are close to being a great side.

Obviously I am biased, but I think it is pretty accurate.

Defies belief :D

Exactly - thats why they wanted Defoe and Lennon - because theyre utter brick.

Oh yeah and also thats why they were going on about VDV and King go missing then we could struggle.

I have been sayin this for years - I wanna knock the fudge out of each and every one of them. I just wanna beat them tomorrow more than any other game.

Just golden that is.

So now its Bale and Modric.....no longer King, Parker, Ade or VDV that makes us a one man team. At least they are getting the numbers down #-o

Tomorrow will give me more pleasure than if we had beaten City, or Chelsea. Liverpool are only (just) scond to the goons right now. What a bunch of absolute c#nts.

Have you not been watching us this season? Bale, vdv, lennon and ade have basically had whatever freedom they want, and the majority of the time it has worked.

Offensively more freedom is a good thing, however defensively it is not. An organised defence is far more likely to succeed then one told to go and do whatever, however an attack that is told to go and do whatever is often a nightmare to defend against, because you just can't practise defending against it.

Well thank you for the unsolicited under 11 team talk tactical briefing.
Your idea of it working and mine aren't in harmony, my personal belief is that playing those two particularly talented individuals to their strengths is a stronger attacking potential, than having two predominantly single footed players on the wrong wing.

I don't like Spurs or Spurs fans for a few personal reasons (If it were up to me I'd concrete your ground over and expunge it from history)

Id fudgein concrete your ground with all you clams in it

I know he is a good footballer - but the point remains - who does he replace?

Lennon is the only one I see making way, but then does Suarez work in our system on the right? With Walker over lapping he probably would I guess

I make it the last 6 games against them (including the CC) we have won 5. The one we lost was down to Webb (surprise surprise)

F#cking scouse pr#cks

I'm curious how they would rate their own team compared to Saudi Sportswashing Machine... after all they are four points ahead of 'the pool'... (depending on current results'

Yes Mick a 4-3-3 with Luka, Parker and Sandro in the middle means our "shape goes to ratbrick". Exactly like it did the only time we played it this season away to Norwich.

I did not comment on any of our performances, just on the way you expressed your post, where you appear to be proposing that everyone goes off and does their own thing.

You posted the fudging thing, don't try ripping me up, when you posted the damn thing in the first place.

You put a post down, and then you start quoting games where paleyers playing well, in a disciplined shape and organisation worked as a team. Not what your proposal appeared to suggest. Without any explanation of substance I had to guess at your meaning.

So the fact that it has been working and we have been winning isn't enough to convince you that it is working?

Is English not your first language?

I was commenting on something posted, not giving an appraisal of our performances to date

I somehow doubt I'd be taking too much notice of your analysis anyway

ps - if you are referring to Bale and Lennon switching and thinking that it has been a success, then I suggest that you are the one who needs to look at the games again, bar a couple of goals and some rare successes where the pair of them have cut back to their stronger foot, or played a ball with the outside of their stronger one, I'd say that the pair of them are only providing a limited attacking potential in the switched role set up.

No, that's not what you've been doing, what you have been doing is deciding that what you think is correct and whatever anyone says about anything is wrong.

I think it's called being a taco.

what the fudge is your problem, how come you have decided that you know more about what I think when I post than I do? This is the second thread where you have done it and you are wrong yet again.

And you have resorted to using personal insults - which unless I am mistaken gets people put on post moderation.

If you can't discuss something and stick to the principle of disagreeing with the content of the thread ansd not insulting the poster - then don't bother responding to mys posts, I'd rather talk to someone with a better grasp of football and a more mature outlook.

I thought the point was who we would bring in if different players happened to be injured... though it wouldn't be the first time i'd missed the point... #-o

That is the point. If you see my Original post you can clearly see "IF LENNON AND DEFOE ARE OUT"....altough i'd the 3 cm's even if Defoe was fit.

"Don't try ripping me, you posted the fudging thing"? are you ok? where have i tried "ripping you"?

you keep saying it's not what my proposal appeared to suggest but how about you look at most my other posts up where i CLEARLY state i'd play Sandro, Luka and Parker in the middle, with VDV and Bale supporting Ade. Hell i say it about 3 times so i fail to see how it "isn't what my proposal appeared" and i'm not "ripping you". Calm down man.

Reina > Valdes

Johnson > Alves
Skrtel > Pique
Agger > Puyol
Enrique > Abidal

Lucas > Busquets
Adam > Xavi
Gerrard > Iniesta

Kuyt > Pedro/Alexis
Downing > Fabregas
Suarez = Messi

I could be underrating Suarez here though.

Fixed? heh... they do seem to struggle in comparing their players to other sides.

Maybe this is why twunty Mctwuntington always predicts them to win?
