Tottenham Hotspur V IF Elfsborg

Richarlison as well.

So it seems Ange wants to get minutes into VDV. That probably means about an hour. Hopefully, Porro gets that hour's rest.

Austin
Gray, Dragusin, VDV, Davies
Bents, Biss, Bergval
Kulu, Richi, Sonny

That leaves Porro, Sarr, Moore and Lanks as bench options.

If that happens and if that is VdV being eased back after looking fit in training for a bit now that would be excellent. Give Porro a bit of a breather for once.

Think Moore may start. Could be a good game for him and a chance to rest another player (Son or Richy).

I would start Moore and Lankshear, they have a great understanding of each others' game and would benefit from having a 'mate' playing. Both should be able to have good games against a side like Elfsborg.

I doubt that will happen, certainly in Lankshear's case. Tonights game is important, an opportunity to get a couple of weeks' midweek rest if we win and you can't take any game in Europe lightly so Ange will go strong to start in this one. If we are winning well Lankshear might get half hour, with Richi just coming back from injury perhaps but I would be shocked if he starts. Moore will get minutes regardless I'm sure....

I doubt they've played together much in matches, Moore has only had a few games in U21s he's jumped up from U18's. I hope Moore starts and Lanshear gets some meaningful game time but I suppose it will depend on the state of the game.

I imagine this is a dead game for them, they can't avoid the play offs and are in no danger of not qualifying. A win might get them an "easier" opponent in play offs.

this is elfsborg on transfermarket.com, cheap and inexperienced. if we can't beat them with only second stringers we seriously need a new coach

Amen to that, lets get the game won first and then bring on the youngsters.
