Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

Mate at the game today was told by a Mace man that it’s 23 weeks behind

I said that would be public knowledge a delay that large and my mate isn’t the brightest

Anyone else heard anything?
Hahahaha! That is the biggest flimflam I've heard in a long time! The schedule has been known for a long time, and as far as the outer structure, it's bang on, even ahead of those plans. Your mate is either lying, incredibly naive or plain stupid.

No he ain’t lying but he is stupid
It’s why his nickname is Trigger
But I have heard both Jason clamy and the moose say it on talkSPORT

Right I need some links guys to any info on teh stadium on programme and also does anyone have the link to the article from teh trust that says we do not have penalties in place with Mace

Regarding any penalties for Mace:

DL stressed this was all at the Club’s risk – Mace wouldn’t work to a fixed price contract with this build as there were too many variables and Mace would not be responsible for any overruns. This is a complicated demolition and build

Cheers
Their so blinkered and typically negative spurs fans
If we had won yesterday they wouldn’t have paid any attention to the dribble they heard

As well as the quote from DL about Mace and penalties, we also had the below from our very own @Mattilda Collywobs back at the end of September. Back then we were on schedule overall. Something catastrophic would have had to have happened for us to now be 23 weeks (i.e. 4-5 months) behind.

The significant effort is currently invested to completing the East stand and preparing the pitch levels. Internal soft finishing commences from the North Stand and progresses south around Easter.

Overall, we are currently on schedule. But it's tight.

Which it clearly hasn't.

However Matilda does say 'but it's tight' implying very little wriggle room should we come up against things like an unusually harsh winter, critical shortages of essential materials, government red tape in issuing a safety certificate, whatever. Sorry to be a Jeremiah but it's such a massive project it will frankly be a major surprise if absolutely nothing goes wrong.

Oh, without a doubt. There are so many variables that getting to that safety certificate stage (including holding the test events) is going to be close to the wire I'm sure.
And this may have been answered before - but are there dependencies on TFL completing its refurbishment of WHL station?

The station won't be finished in time, but will be operational.
