Compare it to the concrete mixing truck. The tunnel is about as wide as the truck (2,5m).Good shout. Thought that looked too small for a players tunnel but then again that's probably massive.

My mate at work's mate is a sparky at the site. Just seen his photo from in the ground just now. My work mate told me his mate said the stadium is well behind on work. The sliding pitch is well behind apparently and something else but he's a West Ham fan so he didnt pay attention. Who knows eh.
It is not well behind, it is all fine, please chill out and/or read the thread on SkyscraperCity if you want proper information e.g. where the players' tunnel isMy mate at work's mate is a sparky at the site. Even if it is a bit behind can't we just ask the PL to switch our first few home games of next season to away games while it's being finished?
Oh that's good to hear, at least it's getting used for what it was intended.I think the other club have to agree to it, but Liverpool did it last season and West Ham this season and most likely have to again next year as there's more athletics planned.
You'd imagine DL has already has a cunning plan for such an eventuality. But there presumably must be a cut-off point so many weeks into the season when the PL steps in and says right, that's it, you have to start playing your home games now - no?Even if it is a bit behind can't we just ask the PL to switch our first few home games of next season to away games while it's being finished?

Oh well, Wembley isn't turning out quite as bad as feared, so another year won't kill us.

This. As someone who was extremely sceptical about Wembley, I feel like we're beginning to own it now. And, the atmosphere we've produced at the bigger games bodes well for NWHL.
Funny how it' always the next bit that's causing delays. Once the pitch is laid it'l be the safety cert.
I'm confident that the stadium will be open for Saturday 13th of Aug for our first home game of the season....... and my 50th birthday
Still cannot hack the effing red seats. Keep reminding myself it's England not Arse, the only way I can handle it.This. As someone who was extremely sceptical about Wembley, I feel like we're beginning to own it now. And, the atmosphere we've produced at the bigger games bodes well for NWHL.
The main stuff will be done. I'm sure they can fence off any internal stuff that is still work in progress.
Another fire in North London. This time it includes the warehouse where Spurs store merchandise. I think the smoke could be seen on one of the live bodies of running water.
