Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

That's well done.

I wonder will the support for paxton roof be moved over a bit allowing them to build further around into the space they are demolishing now.

It would require a solid foundation, but I suspect that they're putting in the temporary stair case in that area. The core may just about fit between the existing truss and the remaining part of the east stand.

There will be installed staircases on both North and East stand. From the guy who supplies the scaffolding

Dear Daniel, fix it "

This might be an ignorant question, but why has the vertical it in the corner been left?
It's a bit of an unknown yet. According to piling plans available, it's sits in a spot where it seems like it will be possible to build the core around it, hence it will stay where it is. But in a new render from a planning meeting, the support is not shown in the image, which leads to speculation that it might be moved. But that in turn means that they will have to build a foundation for it, and there is no sign of that. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Do you mean the bit that supports the roof of the North Stand?

roostery sod. It doesn't look like its giving the front part of the roof and jumbotron much support at all, and surprised they can still build the supporting column for the new part of the stadium with it still there

It is the support for the horizontal structure than spans and supports the roof of the north stand. Feedback from people on site suggests it will be retained. It seems they can build the core because there is about 3mm of space between the two.

I was wondering if they could use the large steel staircase they are building by the cut-off north stand to support the horizontal structure and then remove the end support.
