In all honesty I will say again, there are red flags with him for me, 1 and half stand out seasons by 26 isn't great, not sure I want us getting failures at bigger clubs as our record is more miss than hit, not saying we would do this but I would much prefer us go for a Mbuema or Kudus in the summer. players on the up curve than down.

Its a quality game for me now, not a numbers one

1 and a half good seasons is the same as Solanke.

We really don't create a great deal for him though. There is the argument that he might not be taking up positions to get those chances but honestly if you look at our creation pipeline its fairly blunt, no through balls, no good crosses. A lot of attempts at tight intricate passes into the box to covered players. I think if we get more productive wingers for the system in terms of possession and penetration he would get a lot more chances and goals.

No one we can afford will

17 G+A in January for a striker in his first season in a struggling side plus his ability to bring much more to the game would tell me Solanke is not on our problem list other than we don't have rotation/cover for him.

Yes for a team that relies on so called wingers and attacking wingbacks to get the ball in we must have the worse set of wingers in the league. Would love someone like Savinho at city.

Yes ive said he works hard and he is a decent player. But for 65 mill is that all you get nowadays?

He's rarely in a position to receive the ball in a good position. When a cross to the front post is the only option, he's at the back post and vice versa. When a cut back is on, he's on the goal line.
