Chop off Bergvall's right peg, and he'd still be better than Nypan. I sincerely hope those rumours are well wide of the mark. He's OK in the Norwegian league but he's nowhere near good enough for the PL. Doubt he'd even get into the u-21 team.

Your point further exacerbates the issues. I remember Guimares and Szoboszlai being linked for some time, yet neither ever happened. Funny how often that happens for us.

I think we need to tread carefully. He was frozen out for a reason. He has been further frozen out for a reason. Whether that reason is football, attitude or personal, there is obviously a problem.
Wouldn’t be my ideal candidate to bring into a toxic situation where we need 100% effort and are desperate for points.
I just know he was amazing on fm.

You can't make it up, the club got pelters for not doing their homework on Ndombele, 'it was obvious there was a problem if you did your homework', but now Rashford (who is a big problem for a rival), is the solution!
I don't think he's a long term solution but on loan for a few months with a point to prove could be worth a go. Not like things could get much worse for us.

He did sign a new contract in Oct/Nov. We're quite often linked with players until that point. Then we switch our attention elsewhere.

Udogie, Spence, Regulion, Davies even Gray can play there.
Why would we spend a lot of money on a player we don’t really need? Instead we should put that cash into midfield, attack or CB.

He would be a 6 month loan.... hardly going to cripple us financially and if he doesn't work hard then he doesn't play.
I think Rashfoard will now have a massive point to prove and give whoever he goes to 6 months' hard work.
