I actually saw a story in a paper a few days ago where they referred to Auzealand medals, combining the two. HAHAHAH.

I know team GB is one team, I just think it's a silly team. Kind of like team Scandinavia or team Auzeland, which, of course, does not exist.

Comparing the medals of a silly team and an invented silly team. I don't know. It's all pretty silly.

Silly article, however... 5x the population of the UK, scholarships and pro athletics set ups in a great many universities around the country... I'd be pretty damn dissapointed to be American during this games. The Russians have really had a ghastly Olympics. About 50 medals and hardly any of them Gold. I can't see anyone denting the Chinese for a long time to come.
 
The US total is even more distorted by one dominant sport than ours. Take out their swimming and our track cycling and its about even.
