You did. You said top players and mentioned them in the same breath. Like Balotelli or any player has a right to be that arrogant when putting their country's shirt on?

Just another example.

He was the first that came to me with a big ego. I wasn't comparing players abilities whatsoever. Once again you're talking out your arse. Keep it coming, you're entertaining me...

I don't like Balotelli I must admit. I think he is a thug, a drama queen (which I fudging detest, hence why I hated Thierry Henry with his ridiculous goal celebrations and facial expressions....****) and clearly puts himself above the team. His attitude and dirtiness is like a cross between Cristiano Ronaldo and Ian Wright.

I really don't like Balotelli, especially after what he did to Parker, but you can't deny the guy has ability.

I have been impressed with what I've seen and read about Prandelli. He said as soon as Balotelli realises that people are not trying to hurt him, but they are trying to help him, then Italy will have a champion. Compare that to Mancini who just seems to gonad Balotelli all the time. You've gotta keep him in check no question, but Prandelli seems to be doing a better job at keeping him under control. Hell, he even looks like he's enjoying himself.

And when will people learn to stop writing the Italians off?

Pretty sure it was mentioned in this thread before but last time there was a match fixing scandal in Italy they won the World Cup in 2006.. they also won the World Cup back in the Paolo Rossi days (part of a match fixing scandal) and there was a match fixing scandal this year too...

Fun fact: Alessandro Diamanti translates to Zander Diamond
