What are we going to do about the England team? If that is the best we can manage. Italy bossed the game, and I didn't even think they are that great a side. Germany would have tinkled all over us.

It is about time a manager stopped playing safe and took some risks with younger and less experienced players. i'd rather see a side like that lose than what we put up today.
 
Penalties again, young shouldn't have been on the pitch to take one but doesn't matter, as they say football justice was done, let the dissections of english football begin once again, to no avail.

nah, dont agree with that, they all worked their nuts off throughout this tournament and again tonight. They wanted to progress
 
The guy is supposed to be one of the best in the world taking pens, captain, needs to step up.

A squad that brick was never going to get much further, its a shame because i thought you brought the best players in the country to the major tournaments.
 
I really enjoy watching Pirlo - better than Xavi in my opinion. The guy is just fudging orgasmic.

Pirlo best performance of any player this tournament if the strikers had been any good he could have had three or four assist this game.

totally agree. what a dire representation of the english football. anti football in the extreme. brick suqad, brick tactics, brick result.

i wouldnt mind losing if we attempted to play. that was just embarrassing. who plays for penalties from the word go? us, unfortunately. And Ireland.
