How is Ibra over-rated?

He's won the league pretty much everywhere he's been for the last five years or something and has an terrific scoring record.

If anything he's underrated in England because he's had a few off days against English opposition and Andy fudging Townsend reckons he hasn't looked very good

The pressure is on them though, because after we knocked Milan out a fair few of their lot tried to discredit the result by claiming that Milan were "over the hill" or "no longer a force" etc

There'll be some serious egg on face should they fail to progress, and I for one would love it.

Ibra is overrated because he never performs in the big matches. And his overall contribution to a team isn't all that great.

If that were true I don't believe he'd have as many honours as he does

The big game thing, not the contribution thing, he can be a tad lazy when it comes to defensive work...

Really good Zenit goal, couple of cheeky backheels

Zenit have more Portuguese players in their starting XI today (Bruno Alves) than Benfica (0).

I was thinking about this yesterday with Besiktas - Braga. Besiktas had 5 Portuguese in their 18 man squad, Braga 8.

I'm surprised that, with his talent and the clubs that he has played for, he has never won the Champions League.

It is an interesting one, he leaves Inter for Barca, Inter win champs league, he leaves Barca for AC, Barca wins champions league.....Maybe we should get him in on loan and cancel it? :-k

Samba goal in cold St. Petersburg! Good stuff.

I spoke far too soon... Awful defending by Petersburg... they all just seemed to stop, in addition to which the goalkeeper should have either held the first attempt or palmed it away to the side..

Comedy in Zenit now, commentator sounds like Karl Pilkington, yelling at all the players, hilarious.

Bit of a strange game this...

Im thinking he may be going to Leeds - but then Huddersfield woulda been due some compensation so doubt they would have sacked him.

I was under the impression that they would have been happy with Clarke.

I see their chairman said that with 16 games of the season left they still have a chance of promotion... no brick, and maybe keeping the manager who'd got you into that position might have helped that chance! Bizzare decision.

Fire the manager and the coaching staff and get in.. erm.. erm... Mick McCarthy?
