Right now Saudi Sportswashing Machine seem to be a bigger threat. That match a week on Saturday will not be a walk in the park

According to the Liverpool fans, 4th is theirs now as the others are struggling and they're easily getting 70 points this season. With United being their only away match and all.

We need a better name for the day though, one that's 'clean" and can be posted everywhere, preferably with a modicum of humour/relevance in it.

The Arse are arseholes every day of the season and non-season, and regardless of league position, or comparison to ours.

Absolutely. Why name the day after them at all?

The original (long before Arsenal copied the idea with their St Totteringham Day) was dubbed St Hotspur Day by The Spur fanzine - it was named after we beat them in that epic FA Cup semi final on 14th April, 1991.

So why not revive the name? Far more noble and worthy of our club than something trashy like St Arsehole day.

And wouldn't it be fitting if we managed to ensure finishing above Arsenal on Saturday, 14th April?

It's not like they would ever trip up against any of the lower teams... like bolton for instance.

It's just banter. Why you all so scared? If we blow it then we blow it and they will laud it over us, but while we can why not take the tinkle. Banter is half the fun of football for me

It's brick banter when we haven't achieved it yet. Gooners can have thier St Tottingham day because they celebrate it WHEN THEY'VE ACHIEVED IT. We celebrate half way through a season when we haven't even achieved it yet which is embarrasing really.

Although this gif brings me great pleasure, it upsets me greatly as well.

How fudging tacky do the budwieser ribbons look on the FA cup? Don't get beer advertisments like this, makes me not want to drink the stuff more than anything. Looks horrendous.

That's my thoughts on a lot of ads/sponsorship too. They make want to avoid their products.

I don't think this is premature... there isn't even any consensus regarding what the day should be called. Their name is already dirty because it has Arse in it, so the only thing I can think of would be to call it St. Arselolz Day.

Thanks to you, they just got their free advertising!
Unfortunately for Budweiser, I can make my own tinklewater

According to my calculations this could be a very good day indeed.

Nice to see his master plan fall at the first hurdle.

What a massive bell end that guy is.

That's like saying 'You know what, I fancy Stoke to come 4th. There's absolutely no reason to think they'll miraculously start winning 90% of their games, but I'm going to write a really really long post predicting just that because I so desperately want it to be true'.

On current form and with Suarez coming back, I wouldn't disagree at the moment.

I think we should commemorate a separate day altogether to mark the end of those who will stop saying "This will come back to bite us!"

Just relax and enjoy the moment.
