I haven't been wathing the game but did think to myself when I saw your post that I can name Xahka and Shqiri off the top of my head as Swiss players but can't think of a single Hunarian playing right now.

Hungary definently far from the powerhouse they used to be many years ago.

Yamal at 16 years of age gets assist for Spain in his first game in the Euros, not a bad start.. edit - it was in fact Pedri who also isn't too bad either.

Should've been a clear red for Rodri, and how the hell was that offside?! If Rodri hadn't kicked him that would've been an easy goal. Ridiculous decision. In hockey that would've been a technical goal.

You could see Perisic asking for a red but then the ref said something to him. I'm not sure but I think he was saying for some reason it could only be a yellow if he gave the penalty as well. GHod knows.

Was harsh to disallow that goal from the save too

Expected a bit more from the much hyped Williams, he didn't do much - thought the young Barca lad on the other side was much more lively. Overall a deserved win for Spain, but a flattering result.

That was a huge chance though. Not too impressed by Italy either, but with the Italians that doesn’t have to mean anything. Likely three points today, which is what matters.
