Just got home, had a brilliant day, really enjoyed seeing Watson bat, he played superbly well, lovely shots all around the wicket, gifted some easy runs though, our two debutants didnt really do too well although Woakes did improve as the day went on
Brilliant banter and atmopshere between the two sets of fans, we had the main barmy army people sat in front of us including the trumpeter, some brilliant moments though
1, (To tune of yellow submarine) Your next queen is Camilla Parker Bowles, Camilla Parker Bowles, very amusing
2, (To tune of yellow submarine) You all live in a convict colony, this was brill MCC man did this on his own
3, To an ugly Aussie guy massively punching above his weight with a very fit bird - Is she really going out with him and many many more
and the Aussies, all they had, Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi, jeez how original

Think it's nailed on for a draw. Bob Willis just said there won't be enough time for us to get a big score AND build a lead because of the way we have played in the series with the slow run rate.

The way we bat it will take us the rest of the weekend to get 500. Is it a problem going forward whenever Australia bat first and get a big score? It takes us forever to score runs, that must take it's toll when you're not scoring at an efficient rate.
