Davey Warner with a century on day 1 against India. This one will go down in the ages. I never used to like him up until the last couple years - always a bit of a hot head. But he's matured considerably, and his performance today just confirms it. What a champion.

Shame for Clarke. He was on song for another century as well but the body gave way.

Just for this one day I'm pleased for Oz and their players, must be hard to concentrate with all that went on
 
Cannot believe the empty crowds for test matches has arrived in Australia. Awful spectacle seeing all these empty stands.
 
Normally the stands are full... Workday or not.

It's 25k on the first day of a test that was rescheduled at the very last minute to start on a Tuesday instead of a Thursday. Many peoples travel and leave plans could not be changed. I think it's a fair crowd.
 
Just entered the Lords Ballot for 2nd test tickets against Australia

Went for 2 on day 2 & 3, only £110 each !!!!
 
Cook gone as one day captain then, the form he's in in one dayers it's tough to argue with that decision, however... Appointing Morgan as captain?!?! The guy should have been dropped himself long before cook! Yet another joke decision. Should have given it to Root, we're not winning this World Cup anyway, let him learn this role with a view to eventually taking over the test captaincy.

Hope Cook sees the bigger picture and realizes he can concentrate on just tests and becoming the best test batsmen in the world again like he was around 2010/2011.

Exactly, if we want to have any chance of getting the urn back Cook needs to score 600 runs plus in next summers series
