I'm sure he's basing it on Adebayor signing as would seem inevitable at some point. You're still right though - he shouldn't go anywhere....

If Madrid can spend £160m on Benzema, Ronaldo and Kaka without massive player sales they are subject to the same premium.

they paid around 30 mill for Benzema...........surely you cannot put Modric at the same level as Kaka and Ronaldo when they went to Madrid??

of course Madrid have money, they are one of the richest clubs in the world, but still they put a value on every player they want to buy

apart from Kaka, Zidane and Ronaldo, all the other buys have been around 30 mill pounds max or less

Dawson is not going anywhere, that's complete tosh. And in my opinion nor should he. He's a good defender who gives his all for Spurs even if he is a a little to quick to launch it. He was superb in the CL season and deserves a squad place at the very least.

Agree. Its utter rubbish. Our core four CBs next year will be Vert, Daws, Kaboul and Caulker - am assuming that hte press comment is right and Gallas and Bassong leave. Cant believe that we have the time or cash to start screwing about with our CBs in addition to all the other work which we need to get done before the window closes
