In other news: Rosenborg just bought Elyounoussi from Fredrikstad, Herenveen is getting 75% of the transfer fee. If Levy has heard about this I don't expect any other players to leave.

What does that have to do with Levy/Spurs?

Maybe the phrasing was wrong. Simple explanation; if Levy is trying to put a 75% sell-on fee clause in every leaving players contract then I can't see us selling more players. Meant as a joke, maybe not funny, and has little/nothing to do with Spurs.

Simple. Levy really, REALLY wanted Tarik Elyounoussi. So much so that now that he's gone to Rosenborg, Levy's lost interest in the game and is prepared to let every player currently on the books to run down his contract and leave for free.

Simple.

"Despite being contracted to the club, we do not see a future for Quaresma here.

"We wish to part ways with Quaresma, we want to find him a new club.

"Quaresma will not be rejoining the squad, we have no plans to introduce him back into the team at a later date either."

Besiktas really, really want to get rid of him.

We're only tenuously linked by some utter cretin, so I think it's safe to assume this won't happen.

Shame, I remember a few years ago when I'd have hijacked a commercial airliner and done fifty loop-the-loops of pure joy if we signed Quaresma.

Harry tried to sign him in 2009 but instead of signing for us he went to Chelsea and did sod all and was utter crap. He also failed to deliver at Inter.

On 25 April 2011 Ricardo Quaresma and veteran player Nihat Kahveci had spat on the pitch. Nihat was upset at Quaresma for failing to pass the ball and the altercation was broken up by team mates.[20] Following the 3–0 defeat to Spanish side Atlético Madrid in the first leg of Europa League, Quaresma had a alteration with manager Carlos Carvalhal when the incident happened in the dressing room at half-time after Carvalhal put off Quaresma for İsmail Köybaşı much to his dismay as he did not take the news lightly and began throwing water bottles, before launching a stinging attack at Carvalhal. Quarsema allegedly said "I brought you here, you just think of yourself," the former Inter and Barcelona star. If I was not here, you [Carvalhal] would not be here. You can not remove me from the match because you're nothing." This incident with Carvalhal led the club suspended Quarsema from playing indefinitely.[21]

Over the head springs to mind.

In a nutshell Ricardo Quaresma is a player who has promised so much and delivered so little in career at both club and international level.

Don't know if this is a rehash but was in the METRO

Llorente has been locked in negotiations over a new contract with Bilbao for around two months, and turned down their opening offer of a three-year extension in early July, after the club refused to double his wages.
The 27-year-old has less than 12 months left to run on his current £40,000-a-week deal, and while the La Liga side are willing to boost that to £60,000-a-week, he has told Bilbao to aim closer to £80,000.
It's a demand that has upset the Basque side, who view Llorente as a club legend, and after the talks turned sour earlier this week, the player has now told them he wants to move on.
Bilbao are still hopeful they will be able to convince him to stay, but are wary that Llorente would be a free agent in less than a year, and can negotiate with other clubs from January onwards.
The six-foot-five-inch powerhouse is considered one of the best marksmen in Europe, having scored 90 goals in 236 matches during a seven-year spell at Bilbao.
As such, he has no shortage of admirers, with Real Madrid and AC Milan both trying to buy the striker in recent seasons, but it now appears his most likely destination will be England.
Llorente has been watched by scouts from Emirates Marketing Project intensively in the last 18 months, and they are now ready to make a bid, if they can move out Edin Dzeko, as expected.
City would have no problem doubling his wages, and would even be willing to hand him a hefty signing on fee.
But Roberto Mancini will face competition, with Chelsea also keeping an interested eye out, having stepped up their pursuit for a new striker in the last week.
It's thought Bilbao would do business this summer for £15 million.

As if City are going to buy any striker. Aguero Ballotelli Dzeko Tevez Ade and Rocky Cruz. Obviously they're trying to get rid of two for cheap but they'll demand big money for others, money which nobody seems to have...
