lol 3 weeks left of this window, what point do we dig out the phone number for Rasiak!?

If we go by previous evidence then I'd suggest it's at precisely 11:57pm on August 31st...

Playing with Dos Santos is the same as playing with 10 men

No sorry, you misunderstood - I didn't mean the brick waste of space we've got, I meant that guy who plays for Mexico.

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has opened the door to defender Daniel Agger moving to Emirates Marketing Project if the price is right.

The 27-year-old is valued close to £30million and has been the subject of an offer of around £14m.

And Rodgers said: 'Daniel is a top player and you do not want to lose your best players.

He has been here seven years. He loves the club and its supporters. But every player has his price and we will see where it goes.'

Haha, I wonder who would be just ahead of him on our list for that final hour.. Is Kanu still holding Portsmouth to ransome lol?

Throw in Bentley and we're down to 6.

Maybe we could play against Portsmouth and Rangers?

I think I read somewhere that after missing out on Eden Hazard we could make a sneaky last minute bid for Sorrel Booke, who played Boss Hogg in The Dukes of Hazzard... True he died 18 years ago but apparently they still view him as a direct replacement for Jenas

Don't see why Madrid feel they are in a position to offer us an ultimatum over Modric.
It's simple enough for us, we know he will play alright after being unsettled (see last season). Plus we know the damage a deadline day deal can do (see Berbatov). So surely we've said something like August 1st with £40m or it's nothing?

I suppose I'm a bit concerned in that of we are waiting for Modric money before we splash the cash on a big gun, but there is an element of risk and investment and I don't think we do deals like Liverpool did with Carroll/Torres where they get over the odds for one player and this lets them pay over the odds for another. I think (hope?) we learnt from Rebrov. Id say all our big money buys have had their price tag justified recently, bar Bentley, although at the time he did look the business and had been proven in the Premiership.

I'd hope that if Leandro or whoever was available at a big but fair price then we would go for him, because clearly we need that striker. And Adebayor, please, pleeeeeaaaaaassseeeee......

He most certainly isn't brick and if was to ever sign (unlikely) - he should be judged on his Spurs peformances and nothing else. What a bizzare logic

So you think a player joining from Arsenal, one that most Spurs fans consider to be utter turd, is going to be given time? He's barely PL quality.

Bendtner would be bad news IMHO, apart from Sol Campball no one is unsignable (taking George Graham as manager showed us that) and former gooner heros can be accepted at the Lane (Gallas, Adebayor). But it's harder work for them and if they don't get the breaks they will have the crowd on their back. And if it's one think I've seen too much at WHL over the years it's spacegoating.

Unfortunately Bendtner has don't nothing to prove he is a good enough quality for the Premiership, let alone a top 4 club. The only player who has ever said he is world class is himself!

Just out of interest (honest question, not having a dig) Are there any current arse players that you wouldn't be prepared to sign and let them be judged on their Spurs performances?

Any gooners you hate in their squad Arc?

I'd support any player until they do wrong in a Spurs shirt, I never judge what's gone on in the past....

Yeah I would and I know I'm in the minority on this one. Lot of baggage, but good player and he does talk more sense than most other footballers.....

A lot of baggage?! The **** shouldn't be allowed to kick a football about for a living, he doesn't deserve it. Tell you what, let's get Marlon King in whilst we're looking for a striker. fudge me, even QPR got fed up with his inane flimflam in the end, he might have stopped randomly attacking people but he's still a prick and still an average footballer.
