In laymans terms, people like Jetset better be ready, with lawyers...

They see it like someone who works for say a building firm, they are going after building contracts and someone is releasing what they are willing to pay, allowing others to beat there bids, thus causing damage to it's business.

Oh, really? I thought all the ITK guys just made everything up. Strange. ;)

Why does this not surprise me?

Akqayid:

Modric to Madrid/Playing up/not showing up on plane - Guess what he'll be gone last minute, but we have replacement
Mourts in - He has agreed and been quoted that he wants to come (And I still believe he will)
Defoe has choices - Still does, and to be honest, doesn't fancy them, it'll be the club that ships out not him (again, I know, I speak to him about golf mainly as one of my pals is now teaching him, I put him in touch with)
Ade in - Yes its taking forever, and I'm not involved but trust me as POTL said, its happening
Leandro in - Guess what....
Falcao - We asked, and we wanted, but aint getting (But fudge me guys, we asked!!)
Hulk - Chelsea Bound, but again, we enquired not that long ago
Lloris - Duty free etc etc, I know JJ has pooh pooh this, but I think he alerted most to the fact he may have got one wrong. I'm 100% it will. Actually I've heard his old man is in London this week for Olympics and a meeting.
Rondon - Already said that aint EVER happening ages ago.

Moutinho/Adebayor/Leandro/Lloris All in? Would absolutely love that. Sadly, just cannot see that happening whatsoever, maybe 2, possibly 3, all 4....nah

I see it as a drug dealer, go after them its small time, cut off the supplier and the drug dealers are useless.

As good as this sounds.. There's nothing new here and if we have been after all of these for the whole summer you would have expected at least one of them to be sorted by now. When was the last time we signed so many decent players in such a short period of time!?

On a serious note - in my experience over the years, I've found the 'true' ITKs to be the ones who say very little, few posts over the window, nothing more

This JJetcrap knob spends most of the day 'answering' questions, basking in his new-found glory and probably knocking one out in the process due to all the attention he's receiving. The very fact he's virtually on all the time, repliying to his fanboys should give away yet the biggest clue this clown is a nobody who struck it lucky with some Nelsen info and has been living the dream ever since. In addition to refusing to perform the post/youtube test knowing very well what the outcome would be - well son, you don't need lawyers on this one - you are a grade A tool and a charlatan.

Tottenham move closer to signing Brazil striker Leandro Damião

Spurs confident of a deal for long-time target Leandro Damião
Emmanuel Adebayor's move from Emirates Marketing Project still held up

Tottenham Hotspur have made another move for their long-time target Leandro Damião and they believe that they are close to a deal. André Villas-Boas, the club's new manager, is in urgent need of reinforcements up front and has identified Damião, the Brazil and Internacional striker, as one solution.

Tottenham have a sporting partnership with Internacional – they signed the midfielder Sandro from them in 2010 – and they hope that this can help to smooth the transfer. Damião, who has played at the Olympics for Brazil, had appeared close to a switch to Spurs when Harry Redknapp was manager only for the clubs to fail to agree a fee.

Villas-Boas spent time on a scouting trip to Brazil prior to his appointment in north London. Internacional have already sold the midfielder Oscar to Chelsea this summer and the club's vice-president, Luciano Davi, said that "we are ready for what may happen [with Damião]".

and he would like to be able to call upon Damiao this season. He has, at present, only one established striker at his disposal – Jermain Defoe – with the move for Emmanuel Adebayor, who spent last season on loan at Tottenham from Emirates Marketing Project, becoming a battle to finalise.Tottenham have agreed a fee of £5.5m with City for Adebayor's permanent transfer and have also reached agreement on the player's personal terms. But the deal has been held up by a dispute between City and Adebayor over his package for the termination of his contract.

Tottenham, meanwhile, continue to stand their ground over Luka Modric to the mounting frustration of the player and Real Madrid, whom he has made it clear that he wants to join. Modric is training away from Villas-Boas's first-team squad but the club refuse to sanction his release for less than £40m. Madrid, who consider him to be over-valued, are threatening to turn their attention elsewhere.

QPR step up chase for Tottenham defender Gallas

Spurs are willing to let the Frenchman leave on a free transfer but the 34-year-old does not want to take a wage cut to switch to his fourth London club

3 Aug 2012 09:12:00

EXCLUSIVE

By Wayne Veysey & Greg Stobart

QPR have upped their chase for William Gallas but the Tottenham defender is unwilling to take a drop in wages to move to Loftus Road, Goal.com has learned.

Gallas, who, like Nelsen is 34, has a year remaining on his £60,000-a-week Tottenham contract and has been moved down the White Hart Lane pecking order by the arrival of Jan Vertonghen from Ajax and the return of Steven Caulker following a successful loan spell at Swansea City.

Spurs are willing to let Gallas leave on a free transfer as new manager Andre Villas-Boas tries to lower the average age of the squad.

The Frenchman, who has also played for Chelsea and Arsenal, wants to stay in the capital but does not want to take a wage cut to move to his fourth London club.

QPR have made fresh enquiries for Gallas in recent weeks but they are unwilling to make him one of their highest paid players, given his age and growing susceptibility to injury. The Frenchman made only 18 appearances for Spurs last season.

Backed by funds from owner Tony Fernandes, Hughes has been one of the busiest Premier League managers in the transfer market this summer after the club struggled on their return to the top flight last season.

Rangers have already completed permanent deals for Nelsen, Robert Green, Andrew Johnson, Park Ji-Sung, Junior Hoilett and Samba Diakite, and loaned full-back Fabio Da Silva from Manchester United for the season.

Why do you need 'new' info?

The info has no bearing on the actual timeline of a deal, they are independent of each other.

Do you think it's possible when a club gets a new rich owner for them to jump straight into buying top players or do you think you have to start with decent Prem standard players, then replace with better and and better gradually.

I was just wondering, is it possible to skip the 'Establishing yourself as a decent club with signings like Hoilett and Andy Johnson phase' and skip straight to buying elite players if you have silly money?

Has it ever been done? I mean, even City have had to keep replacing with better players each year.. soo much so that they are now stuck with fringe players like Santa Cruz, Ade, A. Johnson, Wayne Bridge etc all on 100k + a week

I meant that he's saying we are still confident of tying up all of the above players but that has been the case for most of this summer? Surely it will get to a point when there isn't enough time left to finalize so many players before the fast-approaching deadline?

Ah, the wonders of tapping up.

Alves deliverd a similar message for Bale few months back - although with a stronger tactical emphasis. That was probably before they realised Alba was available for around 1/3 of the price

Well if he was a Spurs fan he'd probably be saying the same thing. The atmosphere at WHL isn't up to much either.....

You didn't see the context of his message - he was summarising what he had said this summer to defend himself on SC.

Arcy mentioned something about "true itk" - surely these are just "true£ knobheads by definition
