Which player would you like to see take over from Luka Modric?

Not sure why people don't think we wil get a bigger fee for Modric, especially from Manure

- Carrick, sold for 18M
- Berbatov, sold for 32M
- Modric, anyone honestly see less than 35M even being considered by Levy?

I'd probably take 35-40M +Berbatov

we massively failed to replace each of those sales and modric will be no different

This is true.

The way I see it is if we sell Modric we will fall back into the chasing pack again. It would be a massive backward step for the club, so I think we should move heaven and earth to keep him. I'd even go as far as bringing Charlie back to keep him happy if that is what it takes. That and more wonga. IF we have to sell for whatever reason then to sell to our rivals would be utterly daft, and if we think that way so does Levy.

Hull City have appointed Steve Bruce as their new manager.

My money would be on a relegation fight, unless they give him stupid money to throw around.

Steve Clarke will hope to go nowhere near the footsteps of Brian Kidd, Sammy Lee and other brilliant No2s who failed abysmally as No1s: he has been appointed as new manager of West Brom.

Done very well hasn't he bar his England experience (far too young for international management). Does seem to be an exception to the rule though, would Phil Brown count?

nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

This, don't want Moyes anywhere near Tottenham.

- Everton truely are brick to watch
- They get spanked everytime by their rivals (Pool)
- They bottle it big time anytime they have a snif of something more (Cup, CL qualifying round, etc.)
