have you ever thought that the constant injury problems, not being able to do the thing he loves most, could have contributed to him turning to drink? Of course its embarrassing to see the state he gets into, but I dont see him as a ****y, im a rich fcuking footballer who couldnt give a toss type, like lots of players

Did you just create a ready made excuse for him for being a taco ?

this sucks. why does it always have to take so long for us to get deals done? I would've figured we'd have Vertonghen done by now. Harry out by now. Rodgers in by now. and Hoilett in.

nothings happened.

wheres the excitement??

I guess i just needed a pick me up after the Champs League final. So much for that.

I remember the pre season game against Bilbao, we started off with a genuine 451 and it was Peanut behind the striker with Niko on the left, defied all logic to me.

Was it Pritchard we were worried about loosing?

I believe he was the one that QPR were sniffing around.

So, by my reckoning (at the current time, things could change obviously), the following will not be with Spurs from those who started or featured in the season with us in some capacity.

First Team
Adebayor
King
Nelsen
Saha

Professionals
Alnwick
Jansson
Oyenuga
Ranieri
Uvini
Waller-Lassen

The following didn't make the grade from the scholars:
Angol
Day
Hawkins
McBride
Sheriff
Yeboah

While Miles/Barthram/Ekong/Stewart/Munns seemingly did.

A question mark remains over Veljkovic and Gomelt as they were not mentioned at all, so I guess we'll see when the squad lists are updated.

Gai Assulin released from City.. wasn't he 'the next big thing'

Spent the 2nd half of last season on loan at Brighton.
Being local I took in a few of their games and he looked okay.
Very tidy footballer but also very weak and didn't seem to have any end product or goal threat etc.
Never started a game but looked good on the ball as you'd expect from a Barca youth product. I don't think he'll struggle to find a club but I'd be surprised if it's in a top league.

Think Cudicini is on the top list too.

So much for Oyenuga being destinted for the top!! Couldnt get a game when on loan in the scottish league this season and, from memory, I dont think he was a success when on loan in Finland last summer either

Glad Alnwick is FINALLY on his way!
