Anyone else find it strange that Rodgers said 'I have made it clear to my players who are 1st team players, who are cover players' Surely you want everyone at the club thinking they are good enough for the first team so that when a 'cover' player is called upon they give it their all??

Have a feeling we won't be signing anyone majorly exciting, hopefully wrong though. I think I'll cry if VDV goes..........

definitely affordable. We have a player that has said he wants to work with AVB, unsure why we are leaving it so late IF we are going for him but cant see it happening.

Think we might have a few deals lined up, but a lot depends on who leaves, both for financial and squad reasons.

As Raziel has just explained, we're not going to have

Dembele, Moutinho, Sigurddson, VDV, Sandro, Parker and Livermore fighting for 3 spots. It simply isn't going to happen so theres no point even thinking about this unrealistic scenarios.

Also financially i don't think we could afford spending 25m on Moutinho unless we recoup 10m plus on player sales and a few loans too.

VDV will be shipped off, how long is Parker out for? Also im happy with Livermore going out on loan if we get Moutinho in.

I do think it is over kill, which is why Ive been arguing all day "What is the point in Dembele when you are getting Moutinho?"

I just dont see the link between Moutinho coming in and VDV going out. Different positions.

Also VDV and Dembele could be used in the RWF position - not a fan myself but it would work/is an option.

you missed out Corluka. Also does Pav's sale also count as we didnt spend any money in the winter window
