Selling Modric and VdV in the same window?!?!? Sincerely hope not - we had three top drawer players at the start of the window - those two plus Bale. Selling two of the three would be mind-numbingly stupid

His passing is very good, both on long and short range. His tackling is above average. Shooting is work in progress

For all the players we've been linked with over the coming days - I still see no real indication that we're gonna sign another striker. Anyone think we're not gonna go for anyone else to add to Adebayor, Defoe and Kane? Let's face it, we need some more!

Lets speak in a few years time and judge his career then. Its the same as a lot of young players who emerge from Spurs youth teams - suddendly fans think that the guy will be a world beater. Jamie O@hara is another recent example. Am sure its the same with all clubs though rather than just Spurs. Liverpool fans probably think spearing is top class....

Livermore is physically strong, hard-working and has those other typical British basic but is too clumsy. Contrast with Carroll who is built like a 10 year old schoolboy but is a good passer, has decent movement etc. Doesnt therefore surprise me that Livermore adapted quicker to non-age group football than Carroll but without the basics just wont succeed

Not really possible to prove who is right or wrong though for a few years!

if we sign more midfielders Demb and Mot then i suggest sending Livermore on loan to a prem side so he can play all games and come back next season even stronger

It is possible, there is a huge difference between being a 'world beater' and lacking 'basic footballing skills'.

This whole post reads like backtracking.
