Must admit i am sad that we seem to be loosing are British core from a few years ago. Not sure i am a fan of having a team with only one brit in.

Affelay is a painfully average footballer - no better than Lennon - why the excitment?

Willian is a much, much stronger option

I guess we most of the time will have Walker, Parker, Lennon and Bale in the team - not too bad IMO.

Walker, Bale, Lennon, Livermore, Caulker, Defoe, Parker and Rose. Of which 3 of them start.

And if the rumours arent true then we also have Huddlestone, Dawson, Bentley and JJ.

We need to trim our wage bill as much as possible - we can only have so many average squad players

Stoke are still confident of getting Huddlestone on a season's loan deal.

The Dawson to QPR saga seems to have died a death though.

Dawson couldnt agree personal terms and apparently asked AVB to be given a chance at WHL, Id reckon he will be sent on loan..
