Redknapp is willing to listen to offers for the likes of Heurelho Gomes, Sebastien Bassong, Jermaine Jenas, David Bentley, Steven Pienaar, Andros Townsend and Giovani dos Santos, while January signings Louis Saha and Ryan Nelsen are set to be released when their contracts expire on July 31st, as part of a huge clear out.

Didnt know where to put this as i dont think its quite worthy of a new topic... Yet. But some nonsense on twitter bout Juventus accused of match fixing and if found guilty theyd lose the CL spot and we would get it??? Pipe dream? Utter bollox? If there was any substance to it surely the mainstream media would have picked up on it by now.

If Juventus are found guilty of match fixing, we get our CL spot back! RT! #thfc #coys -- THFC News (@THFC_Rumours)

Sounds to me like the hangers on are clutching at straws... Anyone else heard anything?


Also heard Vertonghen, Adebayor and Dembele could all be announced within the week

Utter gonads. Surely they would give it to the 4th/5th-placed Italian team, Lazio (unless they get done as well) or Napoli.

Where did you hear about Vertonghen, Ade and Dembele? Would be great if true!

If I were given a pound for every time I have read Vertonghen will sign within the week.........

I tweeted the same thing to the fella but he aint replied... Seems to be a hashtag trend on it tho.

The Vert Ade and Dembele is again just twitter goss and "ITK"

What an utter load of gonadS.

Juventus have been accused of jack brick. Its their manager, and that was during hid sienna days! Nothing to do with juve.

If you believed anything this pinhead said before, nows the time to stop.

I would think you are spot on. Granted it would be a nice bonus, but dont seem why Uefa would award it to us over another Italian team

Not that I'm jumping on the bandwagon, but perhaps as a punishment against the Italian FA for their inability to keep their house clean?

Haha, although they do owe us WAY more than they can ever repay, would it be too much for the footballing gods to have Juve buy van Persie and then strip them of their CL place and hand it to us...?
 
If it was to happen surely we would be the first team on the list to replace them. We actually earned our Champions league spot where as the next placed team in Italy did not.

But as previously said it will never happen so it does not really matter does it.

No more than 4 clubs from one country can enter the CL. So whoever benefits it won't be us.
