City could afford to loan us Ade because they expected to be challenging for the title and we weren't direct competition. Liverpool want CL football again and we are part of the direct competition, or they will be hoping so. Loaning us Carroll would be a huge risk, unless they consider him a trojan horse.

They would be stupid to let him go without a replacement though. He's pretty much their only option from the bench.

Why do you want him? Overrated.

I was surprised to see he was 26 years old already. Not worth it, neither in terms of ability or potential.

I think originally Hulk was thought of as an unskilled brawler but the olympics has shown there is a lot more to his game. Would thrive in the premiership.
