Spurs vs Lugrod... Lrodge.... Ludgratet.... F*ck it.

This team was terrible when we played them away. I would normally say I'd be surprised if they could hurt us at all, but we all know what football team we're supporting - it's quite typical Spurs to go down 2-0 at half time against these teams and then turn it around in the second half. 3-2 Spurs.

Ludogorets Razgrad facing Tottenham in the Champions League this week isn’t the biggest story in Bulgarian football today. That honour goes to Alan Pardew taking up a technical role at CSKA Sofia, something which has met with some confusion.

On top of that, there’s the possibility that football in Bulgaria could be postponed from November 27th, as new rules are being bought in to combat the spread of Covid-19 in the country.

Tema report the BFU are urging the government to go easy on football, worried about the impact any cancellations may have, yet restrictions are expected.

Covid-19 could also have an impact on Tottenham’s Thursday match, with Bulgaria’s SportLive reporting there’s worry Ludogorets ‘cannot complete their squad’ for the match.

Olivier Verdon and Georgi Terziev have tested positive, and there could be more on the way. Those two players are central defenders, as is Josue Sa, who is injured.

It was hoped there’d be some clarity today on who is actually able to travel to England, although that hasn’t appeared yet, and at this stage it could be a case of waiting to see who flies to London on Wednesday morning.

This match should give Jose Mourinho a perfect opportunity to rest his key Tottenham players, regardless of who makes the trip.

Just delighted to know that we’ve been upgraded to the CL. That was easy.

Looks like Matt Doherty is training today.

That would be a good result. THink its important that we try to play players only once per week, or perhaps say 120 min per week, given the congestion which we have and likelihood of it causing injuries

Interesting that JM sees Tanganga as primarily a full back. And only an emergency CB. Think he is hinting we need another CB.

Worry Ludogorets ‘cannot complete squad’ for Tottenham – And Bulgarian authorities consider cancelling football

Ok, they seriously need to either cancel this one, or give the players a PCR test literally hours before the game. If two of their players tested positive, the rest can't be far behind. fudge our team getting infected for an EL group game.

Having laser surgery on my eyes tomorrow morning; given our recent EL performances, not being able to watch a screen tomorrow evening might be a blessing

Good luck. Had it a few years ago, and it was the best thing I ever did.* Happy to discuss if you have any Q’s?

* excluding anything else I latterly think of.

I think we'll see "surprisingly" little rotation. We want to sew up qualification ASAP, and we fudged up by not turning up in Belgium. We'll see a strong starting 11 (it'll be strong whoever starts, but you get the point).
Might be. I think it's difficult to predict. Based on what Mourinho said after the Antwerpen game you'd expect very little rotation. I suppose this game will put that statement to the test.

This game coming between the City and Chelsea games, players back from the international break before that, we've already lost Alderweireld to an injury that at least looked related to the amount of game time he's seen.

Not many lineups that would surprise me I think.
