Son Heung-Min

Ange says they hope he will train today and they will evaluate.

I hope we don't play him unless he has recovered. He is in and out at the best of times away from home. With an injury he will just be anonymous and we'll be wasting a shirt. It's a long season. We should protect our captain and make sure he lasts a long season.

Gray has good words for Son.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Gray has been discussing how he’s adapted to life at Tottenham and how he’s settled in.

Gray says that he’s had a lot of support from his teammates, stating that Heung-Min Son has been a huge help so far.

Indeed, the midfielder says that Son has helped himself and Lucas Bergvall a lot since he’s arrived at the club, claiming that a character like that in the dressing room is priceless.

I didn't know they sat in a pressurised oxygen tent thingy before training.
Nor an icy swimming pool after, although that was only Son. Must be the easiest job in the world, looking after that pool.

Yes he’s not the player he was, but I fail to see any decent alternative to him. Let’s not kid ourselves, he would have walked into nearly every premier league team in his prime. Granted he’s not in his prime anymore but he can still be bloody effective. I’m all for slowly phasing him out but with Werner? Please.

He was definitely not bossing the left wing. He's great at some things and makes me miss Werner at other times.
Yeah it’s odd those images
Sonny made some stuff happen first half but better decisions with his passes and also attacking the 6 yard boxes for crosses and he would have had a goal
Second half he was much more like a winger until we scored and then he played his classic counter attack game to aplomb

We need to shove the pair of them in one of these telepods and hope that the hybrid which emerges combines Werner’s tireless running with Son’s finishing ability; thank goodness it was Sonny on the end of Sarr’s through ball so he could kill off the game rather than Werner who would’ve probably run it straight out of play judging by his cameo.
