WTF was wrong with our weirdo set up when defending set pieces (corners in particular)?
It's not as if the opposition are towering over us in terms of height, but the movement they have always seems to be far superior to ours. Why we've decided to not put a man on the post i don't know but it's like we're giving team a 1 goal head start. Such a cheap and annoying way to concede a goal.

Another situation where we miss Sandro (and Dembele to some extent).
Not good enough though, Dawson got completely crushed in the air, as Vertonghen got against Wigan and I don't know what Parker was doing.
Their attacking movement for set pieces was really good though, we could learn a thing or two.
I'm also massively sick and tired of us switching off on defensive set pieces time and time again, throw ins and free kicks in our own half we need to quickly get organized and focused, not use it as a time to walk around casually.

I don't think I can ever remember Hudd looking even slightly threatening inside the box itself from a set piece.

That's quite simply not good enough, and a scary stat to bring into an away game against Stoke.
Vertonghen left back and Caulker in alongside Dawson to give us another strong tall player, Ekotto has been average at best recently anyway.
Dembele back would help as well.

IIRC, he's often hovering outside the box where he can either grab a loose ball and shoot, or offer cover as a DM. I'd still rather see Holtby or someone taking corners and have Hudd in the mix.
