Finally, said it a while back, it's on Savino to start pushing on his side, City are clearly not in a rush either way, it's his career (he isn't going to start for them and it's already cost him his national team place), and we aren't/can't wait forever.

I feel a bit sorry for him, but in a way its his own fault by signing to the City group in the first place. I vaguely remember some talk that he didn't even want to leave Girona initially to join City but didn't really have a choice and it obviously made sense as the next step in his career at that point.

Then think back to last season, he was happy to leave and saw us as a good place to play and City refused him that opportunity and then didn't even really play him. I can see why at this point hes probably quite eager to make the move and i'll say that I do like that he seems genuinely eager to play for us despite all the nonesense we've been the last 2 seasons and the 3 managers since we first established mutual interest. It makes me think that he sees this club as the sort of place that suits him more than a City and I can see the sense in that.
