Isn’t Emerson on the tour? Surely he wouldn’t have gone if we were close to selling him?
 
I told you we could have got SOME money for Tanganga and Sess rather than cancelling their contracts.
Even if priced at £500k that would be a million quid.
When it comes to charging fans for hotdogs and beer, a million quid is vital income and priced accordingly.

both of them are still young... could have sold them at $100K + sell on clause too
then again who knows what the market for spurs players are out there.
 
Their wages would have meant both player would have been better off staying with us for another year. They won’t get the money we were paying elsewhere. So a clean break makes sense.

He needs a year getting kicked and getting back up to show his ability

He's got track record for performing in Spain, one of their clubs should have been able to stump up £8-9m and got a good deal

Has he… I mean he wasn’t a regular starter for anyone that we loaned him too
A squad player at best
And maybe they have seen that he hasn’t improved technically or physically
