Grey - might not want to move if Mahrez leaves, since that means he'll become first choice in that position.
Brandt - apparently doesn't want to move in a World Cup year, and instead wants to go to Bayern next summer when his low release clause comes into effect.

There's got to be a thousand better options out there than £40m for David Dunn. Creativity in tight spaces, pace and dribbling are the real things we need, and Dunn doesn't particularly excel in any of those.

In all seriousness, a) I don't think we'll pay 40m - no goddamn way. Maybe 30m at a stretch. And, b) he's a fairly good dribbler from what I've seen of him - I'd say his limitations are more to do with his lack of tactical nous, defensive weakness and inconsistent output. But I think he's quite good at running with the ball - stands to reason, given his size and ability to pick up pace on the run.

By Dunn i assume you mean Barkley and he is actually deceptively quick and very creative.

Deceptively quick like Fazio was?

I said creative in tight spaces. Barkley is a Hollywood player like Lampard or Gerrard. He doesn't have the quick mind or quick feet (like Alli) to be an AM in our (possession) system. He's more a classic #8 for a counter-attacking side.

Wow you really don't like David Du.....I mean Ross Barkley

I think he is worth taking a chance on. He is not as bad as you say but he does need a lot of coaching to improve him. For this I trust in one of the best coaches in today's football. Over to you Poch

No comparison. Sissoko has had years and years of bad form and attitude. Barkley is still young and from the sound of him is willing to work hard and learn. Sissoko never showed that throughout his career

He's just a typical brainless player with a decent physique and a few tricks. A David Dunn.

I just like footballers with a bit of intelligence, and that's a building block you can't coach.

No - they mainly came from driving play on the break. Not against tightly-packed deep-sitting defences like we encounter.

For me the similarities with Sissoko (in terms of basic skills set) 12 months ago are just too close

Sorry GB,but theres no way Im going to believe you know the majority of scenarios his assists were created from....
 
Barkley feels like the poor mans Siggy. Would probably get a few goals and create a few but to be honest the should be better out there for that sort of money. Or we develop our own.
