Not everyone who votes Conservative is a racist. Much harder to make that case for Reform though when they stand on such an overtly anti immigration platform.

I honestly believe they are, it's a party led by an open racist, with many openly racist candidates, some of whom are now councillors.

Anyone who supports that, is accepting of racism, and therefore, racist.

I am disgusted by them.

Massive generalisation, they have candidates from various backgrounds? Are they racist? I do think though they do have some complete idiots on board both in the party and in votes.

As for politics as a whole, no one is willing to tell the electorate the hard truths about the situation the country is in especially in the lead up to elections. Quite the opposite in fact, they bribe them with freebies which they can't deliver on in office.

So many people think "well I'm no better off under this lot so what have I got to lose with Reform?" Plus Reform promise to cut "red tape" (by that they mean safeguards like moderation of social media) and send immigrants packing. It's a tempting message, peddling fear, anger and self protection which is easier than actual solutions to our problems.

I mean Starmer is not great but he is not as venal as Johnson or Farage or as batbrick crazy as Liz Truss. Yet his personal approval ratings are in the gutter.

Now is the time for greater scrutiny of Reform's policies by the other parties. Plus highlighting the antics some of their members is important too.

I think the country is almost ungovernable at this point. There is so much rage that those in charge are simply a conduit for all of the anger.

It’s one of the main reasons why I think a Reform party with a fair amount of local power across the country now will largely crash and burn before the next election.
