Immigration is massively unpopular. In quite literally every country in the world. The list of countries where the typically right leaning party has moved further to the right, in particular on immigration, or an alternative party that's further to the right, is longer than the Spurs injury list.

Absolutely. On the flip side, it frustrates me when English people go abroad and make little to no effort to speak the lingo, even just learning the basics can take 5 minutes to google and can go a long way in placating the locals; “hello” “goodbye” “good morning” “please” “thank you” “can I have the bill please?” Not really asking a lot to learn those before travelling. So it works both ways. You should have a basic grasp of the language of the country you live in.

I have absolutely no issue with controlled immigration and asylum. I am an immigrant myself although I understand my experience is not similar to your typical immigrant to the US.

Its just problematic when its not controlled and they those coming into a particular country do not speak the language and are not prepared to adopt and overarching culture.

Mate European and even as far as Asian countries and beyond but the Brit’s to shame at their own language unfortunately especially when we go abroad and expect others to speak English.

However we are not talking about a holiday we are talking about being figures of the state.

Unfortunately anyone that has been voted in that cannot really speak English is only communicating with people of that community and not the general society overall.
 
Looks like Tories will probably regain Enfield which could mean the end for the Women's academy at Whitewebbs as they were opposed to it.

Greens have taken Waltham Forest and in early counting Greens are taking seats from Labour in Haringey , wonder what that will mean for the club if they win.

Which is a fair enough viewpoint but as of now, no one has demonstrated that this is the case.
