I'd be surprised if the dof didn't have the autonomy to lower details around a past youth player sell on deal.

I wonder whats the boundaries that Paratici works within... Annual spend and amortisation budegt for players?

Our deals come late, very late. Disregard everything you see on social media its 1-2 games later for new player assimilation.

Some people are just asshats who want to talk to the "boss"

Real story, had a customer who refused to believe a contract offered was the best deal, jumped on a plane, turned up at an executive's office unannounced half way across the world to demand a better deal, got their ass handed to them and came back to the exact same deal.
 
Honestly some people , Levy polarises .... the fans that don't like him blame him for everything, and the ones that back him think the sun shines out of his ass ... its hilarious to read got to say. Proper takes me back to junior school playground mentality.

Yes, agreed. Levy has done well with the spending amount and Paratici has spent it well IMO. A new keeper and a couple CBs in the summer and we'll be in a good place

Lots of players to ship out: the 5 on loan (Ndombele, GLC, Winks, Rodon, probably Reguilon) would generate some income, though way short of what was paid for them, and then if you add fees for say Sanchez and/or Tanganga who would be replaced by incomings CBs, there's some cash to help fund the summer signings. We might want to spend £150m on the 3 above players this summer, but that lot can make a meaningful dent in that outlay

Spending it right is more important than how much we spend. I'd be mad if we threw money around like Chelski!
Like Conte said, we can't afford to get it wrong in the transfer market. Not financially, but in sporting terms.
