Pedro Porro

We aren't signing anybody in this window
Well apparently Emirates Marketing Project are considering triggering their buy back option on Porro for 15m. And Mourinho has said he thinks Zaniolo will stay. Doesn’t exactly look like we are on the cusp of signings….

He has also said he is for sale

Surely Sporting would happily sign off on 30m to us rather than sell for 15m back to City? Or maybe there is some sell-on fee anyway?

Spurs not paying City sell on clause does not make sense. We insert those clasuses in contracts too.
We just can't afford him

We can’t pay city the sell on as they aren’t the selling club
It’s between city and sporting
Our issue is that we don’t value him as a player if importance enough to pay £40m in cash in one hit
I agree as that would have out him in the elite bracket for full backs and he isnt there yet

To go back into the reserves?
Because you’ve decided that’s where he will be going?:D Walker is on his last legs and can fill a couple of positions there whether it be attacking full back or further up the pitch. Either way it’s a no brainer for them at that price. But sure, who wouldn’t pick Spurs…..

They only sold him this summer didnt they

Sporting are playing in a domestic cup semi-final tonight.
I daresay we are likely to see a quick conclusion to this after he's played.

My guess would be one of Sanchez, Emerson or Gil..
My guess is your guess is wrong:D Sanchez is first choice cover for RCB/CB, Royale is still very much involved and I don't see players who have consistently played in the PL for the past couple of years stepping down to play in the Portuguese league all of a sudden. Gil at a push if it was a loan. I doubt it would end up being any player in exchange but if it was I would have thought Tanganga....

Guessing is all we can do :)
I would have guessed Tanganga actually, but for one thing he is home-grown and secondly he turned down a move to Milan or some other Italian team so i assume he'd not want to go to Portugal either (which would be a shame for him as at this stage he NEEDS to be playing and testing himself regularly).
Remember, though, that all these players have hit the buffers in terms of playing time and might want a change of scenery plus just, well, playing time

Levy is doing his extreme haggling on both, once again displaying his penny wise pound foolish approach, so best case scenario is we sign both on deadline day saving about £1.45m on what we could have paid on January 1st.
