As I said he reminds me of trippier with his crossing and passing

But defensively? remember Tripper was hounded out because he was all over the place at the back and giving away chances and goals constantly.

I just think we’d need an extra body around the box for it to work. As GB mentions - It worked for Eriksen but he always had the Dele runs.

Lately - we work it wide for a cross (which Kane has usually been involved in) and there’s nobody to cross to.

And/or there are 7 centre backs waiting for the cross because it took us 10 seconds and 5 passes to make the situation.

Agree. Not sure we need an 18 year old RB/RWB. Dont see how that helps us as presumably he wouldnt be a starter - just another defender on the bench!

Someone able to play in a back 4 is better futureproofing perhaps - avoids another Royal situation?

Over strengthening the starting 11 with someone Conte (might) want now.

I mean that makes zero sense for the club's current situation and needs in the market so it's probably 100% true and will happen.
 
Would not surprise me if we do not sign Porro now. Why buy Porro for Conte if he will be gone in the summer when we already have a club signing for that position?

Agree. Spence and Royal is actually a pretty good balance for a back 4. A Walker and a Corluka option.
