Other Clubs - Rumours and Discussion

Apparently Thiago is looking for a way out at Barcelona. Wants more playing time in order to get into the Spain squad for the World Cup. Is he miles out of our league?

Currently being touted to the usual suspects; Bayern, United and Chelsea.

Amazing player, but certainly way out of our league. I'd say he's prob worth 30mil+ in this oil fuelled market.

That would be a bargain.

I think the word on the street is, that due to the fact he didn't reach an X amount of games last season, his minimum release clause dropped down to £15,000,000 or something. Could be nonsense, who knows, but he was injured a lot last season I think, so perhaps he wasn't played for a reason. Xavi and Iniesta are also a little bit tricky to beat out, but the Barca fans seem to rate him extremely highly. He also just scored a hat-trick in the U-21 final.

So to sum up, we don't stand a chance... ;)

Leitner has been sent on loan and Bittencourt has left Dortmund.

I imagine that'll mean Eriksen will be joining.

Sky Sports: We're getting reports from the Italian press that Inter Milan and Parma have agreed a swap deal for Antonio Cassano and Ishak Belfodil. The proposed move would see Inter also loan another player to Parma, while agreeing a fee for a possible permanent deal for Belfodil.

Liverpool's extensive summer recruitment programme is increasingly likely to include a cut-price transfer for Porto's Ghanaian international Christian Atsu after a significant breakthrough in negotiations.

The two clubs are in advanced talks and Liverpool are moving in on a deal that would see the 21-year-old winger sign for as little as £3m, on the basis that his contract expires next summer and he has already made it clear that he will not be signing another one.

Atsu, a quick, talented but sometimes erratic winger, was brought into the Porto first-team squad during André Villas-Boas's time at the club and is seen by the Liverpool manager, Brendan Rodgers, as a player who can offer his team more width and penetration in attack.

FA9 @Football_Agent9

Norwich want 10 million for John Ruddy, that's put Aston Villa off who were looking to pay around 4 million.

Hull City willing to match Villa's 8million tag on Darren Bent, and his 70k wages, Saudi Sportswashing Machine match fee but not wages..this will drag on IMO.
Bent reluctant to team up with Steve Bruce again.

i trust avb on this one.

Apparently he was willing to accept a lot less if a bigger club had wanted him, even Saudi Sportswashing Machine.

Yeah by all accounts he really didn't want to sign for them. He must regret ever leaving Saudi Sportswashing Machine.
