*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur vs Saudi Sportswashing ***

Im not distraught. We didn’t expect a win. That we should have won and did enough to win is some encouragement.

Keep doing what we are doing but do it better, and we will prevail. Defend better. Be more clinical in front of goal.

Just F off. This is why we will be struggling around 6th place this season. come end of season we will be supporting City and hoping Arsenholes bottle it again

This loss was due to injuries. Nothing really wrong with the approach, just the personnel.

The number of dangerous crosses flashed across goal, a striker would have gotten on the end of at least one of those. But, Solanke, Richarlison, even Lankshear, all out, Kulusevski shows that he isn't a centre forward outside of a pre-season friendly or two, Son isn't one against low blocks - and so all those chances go begging.

At the back, that one breakaway that sealed our fate - Van de Ven catches Ramsey there. They just waited for us to get a little too high up, and then hit us where Dragusin didn't have the pace to recover and Romero stopped running.

The system needs a striker. The system needs a pacy center-back. When they are both out, this happens.

Of course, the club decided we didn't need backup for Van de Ven, so this will keep happening whenever he's out - thought that was a dereliction of duty, still do. But up front, we've just been unlucky.

One to write off and move on. We didn't play badly, Saudi Sportswashing Machine didn't play well, we just lacked key personnel and the system cannot function without them.

A good manager adjusts the system if a key player is out, a highline without VDV is mad, a highline with him is bad enough
We have spent how many millions on players for Ange?
He has been backed.

We are actually quite decent, but we make too many mistakes and we don't put away our chances.
Decent sides don’t fail to win against Leicester or Saudi Sportswashing Machine on current form. People keep saying ‘we are playing well’ but that’s irrelevant: we aren’t winning games.

Not you again. Only come here to whinge!

Johnson has been really positive since coming on. On the other hand we are not putting numbers in the box. Problem is with this system that Ange plays, against the better teams, we don't keep clean sheets so have to be clinical with chances to even draw the game!
You could see on the last one Johnson flashed across goal, Son peeled off rather than getting into the 6 yard box. In truth, we should have had players in both positions.

Did we play that high? Seemed a pretty standard line for a team with the lions share of possession

A bread and butter through ball on the half way line cuts is in half and they score a tap in. Sorry to say it but Ange needs to do something on the training pitch because we are simply tinkle easy to score against.

The line is just too high.

They can bleat about philosophy and being brave, but defending the halfway line is just stupid.

You can’t step up and play offside and you give them half the pitch to run into.

There was a threat in the middle in the box in the second half, hence why we scored.

It isn't a disagreement, you are literally incompetent and need to stop replying to my posts.
I’m not sure you’ve quite worked out how this place functions yet. It’s a forum for expressing different viewpoints. We normally manage to do that in a pretty respectful way.
