Used to do that at Brentford tooLoved the way Frank walked around the whole perimeter of the Spurs fans at the end - as close to the stands as he could get.

Everything? Even Levy/ENIC?Thanks mate - I did take a break last year. Not just GG, online in general. Kept an eye on everyone here, but otherwise refrained from pitching in.
Didn't know how deep I was in a spiral of online misery until I did - and once I stepped away, I realized so much of what I was getting angry about online didn't matter.
I'd like to think (and hope) I'm a bit less angry about everything now.![]()
Disappointed about tonights result but not in a negative way at all. I'm only disappointed as we came so close to have the bragging rights.
We were very good tonight. Frank's attention to detail and his ability to extract the best out of his squad was very noticeable. PSG, as the best team in Europe, were run close. They won the penalty lottery.
The best example I can give is Danso's throw. I didn't even notice under Ange that Danso had that monster throw in him. Even though he was selected in that RCB/RB role he was out there on the left wing launching throws into their penalty spot and they were creating havoc. Frank had switched things around for these moves so our throw-ins were like corners. It is this type of coaching that I appreciate as a fan.
The hybrid 4/5 at the back was so effective that we had 2 of the world's most skilful players subbed off the pitch in the second half.
I hope the optimism now builds in the fan base.
His natural game is being a street ballerYah, but Kulu will eventually return and then we have Eze and Kulu for the middle. Great options of course but the left is still lacking. Whereas adding Savio gets us a quality left winger and assuming we don't bring in say El Khanous Kulu will eventually return. So is rather have Savio for left and Kuku for the middle than Tel/Odobert for the left and Kuku/Eze in the middle.
I know you're gonna respond with Eze being able to play out wide and sure he can but not to the level we want really. Like you say he dictates, his natural game is that if an AM not a winger. There's a reason we are looking at Savio for width and Eze for the centre.
Oh fair enough!Used to do that at Brentford too
Daughters just moved to uni in AmericaDid they say why Levy wasn't at the game tonight ??

A higher level version of Odobert (who is my favourite for the left of our existing options). Savio/Odobert fighting out is not a bad place to be at all. With Eze/Kulu though the middle. His natural game is being a street baller
We are missing that
Savio for me plays very similar to Odobert
Eze plays like no one we have
Ideally we get both and then have a quantity issue again
Everything? Even Levy/ENIC?
Jesting of course.
Wasn't even the only one to miss, but Van de Ven won't get a fraction of the stick he will. One loon at Instagram and twitter and my heart sinks. I don't particularly rate Tel but the levels of abuse and racism towards the lad is a shocker. The banana emojis in his Instagram comments is fcuked
If you are a 40 to 50 year old man hammering down like that on a 20 year old kid then you are a cnut
Higher but also 3 times the costA higher level version of Odobert (who is my favourite for the left of our existing options). Savio/Odobert fighting out is not a bad place to be at all. With Eze/Kulu though the middle.
So true mateWasn't even the only one to miss, but Van de Ven won't get a fraction of the stick he will.
Eze had a very perceptive interview a while back where he explained that what he eventually learned was that social media doesn't mean anything. The abuse, the stick, the repulsive racism - none of it means anything beyond that the people typing it out have problems in their life and need to take it out on you, by saying things they wouldn't dare say to to your face.
I hope someone is reminding Tel of that tonight.
Sounded like a great atmosphere, did you enjoy it ??Gutted to lose it as we did but very encouraged overall by the way we played.
I certainly feel more optimistic about this coming season than I thought I would.

I think Tel has the right manager in TF to bring the best out of him. It may still not be enough but surely it's too early to judge? TF converted both Mbeumo and Watkins from left wingers to play more centrally, so he has form. Let's wait and see and give the lad our support.
The only downside is it would be good to have Big Kev in there on the end of them rather than his Danso Delap impression out on the touchline. The throw in thing came off a training ground competition they had
Frank is all about marginal gains and that rally showed tonight
