Leave it to some people here to ruin an away win against a german side.

Austin looked shaky towards the end. I see now why Ange prefers Forster. Why the hell did we play Forster so much when we had Austin all along?
Great win! Hopefully means we don't have to play qualifying for the next rounds.
I think they were fineI also understood why he tried to use the kids as late as he could. They were struggling after the initial adrenaline.

Not sure if seriousAustin looked shaky towards the end. I see now why Ange prefers Forster.
I don't see Southampton playing in Europe.Germany's Southampton
Lower case letters are NASTY and BAD letters!Has there been an executive order signed in the past COUPLE of days saying that ANY communication coming out of the US must now CONTAIN some words in ALL CAPS?
Well yes it wasn't awful in the circumstances (hence "take the three points and move on") but it was still stressful how vulnerable we looked throughout, which is quite exhausting at this pointDoes the team looking spent because they are spent factor into the evaluation of the performance?
Fair points. For me they have gotten more experience. They should use that taste to understand what is required to make it at the higher levels else they would be in the EFL!I think they were fine
What you have to do is occupy the opposition anyway you can
It’s how you break their momentum
They were gambling as they had too but the way we let them they would have felt like they had an extra man
Lankshear came on and stuck up top. He did some good work, some poor stuff too but he made them think
Olusesi looked a bit lost in moments but he showed for the ball which was key
A decent side scores 3 or 4 against us there.
I'm normally pretty positive but we are looking absolutely spent at the minute and were out of that game for long periods.
Hope the rest of your week brings you more joy.Well yes it wasn't awful in the circumstances (hence "take the three points and move on") but it was still stressful how vulnerable we looked throughout, which is quite exhausting at this point
I'm also having a brick week which admittedly isn't helping my attitude to Spurs
Cannot wait for Romero and the rest to start coming back
Thankfully Leicester are also complete brick and Elfsborg is surely winnable too, by which point players start coming back.Yep they were awful and still ran us close.
I can't see us beating anyone.
We just need their energy right nowFair points. For me they have gotten more experience. They should use that taste to understand what is required to make it at the higher levels else they would be in the EFL!
SeriousNot sure if serious
We beat someone just now ya miserable git!Yep they were awful and still ran us close.
I can't see us beating anyone.
Need to win the home game but tonight was a must win as well so we've done what was needed
Elfsborg shouldn't be too much of a problem, in theory, but they've gotten som decent results in Europa League. They beat Roma 1-0 at home, lost nearly 4-3 away to Galatasaray and beat Quarabag at home. Not fantastic, obviously, but they're not the "farmers" some will probably say they are.
