***OMT TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs Everton***

Son on the bench and Moore on the left and Richarlisson/Lankshear as striker options might have seen us win this match. Everton is s**t and their defense only looked ok, fell apart with first little bit of preassure.

Sarr to blame for the first goal, a stupid stupid pass straight into the middle, one you learn not to do when you are six years old. I cannot understand how a professional at this level can do stupid misstakes like that.

Just hope next manager has balls to bench Son.
Yep
A presence forward who engages the opposition
Just like DCL did to us
No matter how poor they may be in front of goal they help because they defend from the front
Instead we had son who is now scared of contact and Maddison who was invisible

You honestly think any manager is going to get results playing two 18 year old youth players and a makeshift back line?

I agree it is likely Postecoglou will be relieved of his duties now. But mainly because fans won't give him time to get players back, and the malaise has already set in.

But honestly, which manager in world football is getting results missing both CBs and both midfielders?

I don't mind Ange sacked as it is untenable now, but to think any manager could get results with the players available is optimistic.
How much of the injury crisis is down to the manager though is the flip side. If his methods are a contributing factor, why do we have to give him a pass every season when half the team is out?

And furthermore the question arises of he's managed the team through the injuries as well as he possibly could.

It's a bit disingenuous to blame his potential sacking on the fans.

Exactly. We lost by 1. Not 4. That was my point. Everton and DCL will never score all of their chances.

Anyway - seems emotions are high and logic is out the window.

Might be time to log off.
Exactly. Which is why they fight relegation.
We lost by 1 against an utterly terrible team.
So the stats don't help any pro Ange positions.

Some games are must win. We just lost it.

We don’t know
It’s why I won’t blame him for the injuries
But I will name him for his mismanagement of the squad and the line up

Poor rotation. Style of play. Throwing players back in too early.

It’s a stretch to think Ange has no responsibility for the injury situation.

We haven't only being suffering defeats since Romero and VdV had been out. 24 defears in 50 games is nowhere near good enough. Besides the first 10 games it has been poor.
Other mangers would change the system under the circumstances that Ange faces. Just about every other manger would give 18 year olds simple instructions, instead Ange has Gray playing some type of hybrid defender/midfielder role. Couldn't have made it much more compicated if he tried.

Ange is never pragmatic and never makes changes to the system just to get a result, every other manager would.

Edit: to add. People were saying we could have lost by 8 against Liverpool. Maybe they meant 11-3 (even though Liverpool’s XG was 4.5) or maybe they just erased our goals and meant 8-0. Maybe they can let us know….illogical.
I hear you and it can all be ifs and buts. But whatever the scorelines.....the actual results are.....we have lost brick loads

And we have not been playing great.
