They are fickle fudgers who moan like hell and sell their STsI'd get new mates.
That was joelintons second foul after being warned that the ref would allow him no more fouls.
The fact there was blood was totally irrelevant, it wasn't a foul.
Did I say it was a foul? My entire point is that you can have physical contact in a game without it being a foul / a yellow. It's a contact game and accidents happen with varying degrees of severity. If people want to be ridiculous and wail about supposed injustices, fine but at least own the ridiculousness.
Respectfully I don't know if we really want to get in to this again mate! Does it lead anywhere positive in terms of discourse?
I'm not devastated by the recent performances and I don't think there's some kind of agenda, although I was honestly surprised by the Gordon goal handball (or no handball I should say). Hopefully we all want consistency but no two situations are exactly the same...
You're right, no two situations are the same, so why did you compare them.
Not fit for purposeI’m pleased Werner is starting, if only that people can see again how bad he is and will stop calling for him to start games for at least a week.
Because they're similar instances of two bits of physical contact that weren't fouls. Apologies if that wasn't clear, I thought it was pretty clear (and didn't say they were identical). Anything else? Was this what you wanted?
It’s ok everyone saying the rules were applied for their first goal. But 9/10 the ref blows up on field. The fact he didn’t is because it’s Spurs and the easy thing to do is give the decision to the momentum media darlings - Saudi Sportswashing Machine.Yip - the rule is the issue on the goal, not the ref. He should have sent off Burn for two yellows though, and Joelinton should have been booked early on.
one a deliberate act, the other wasn't.
You insinuate in your original post that because there was blood it worse, even though it was accidental.
I personally don't see how Joelinton's was intentional and it was minor.
But there's presumably a Saudi Sportswashing Machine fan on a forum saying that Kulu's was definitely calculated and positioned himself to taco Gordon with his shoulder.
My point being that's subjective and we won't get anywhere in this discussion. I mean yeah if you bloody someone's nose it's a worse accident than slightly bumping them. I don't believe Bergvall was actually hurt, like the Bruno incident, he's doing what footballers do and that's life (but also a subjective call that you're entitled to disagree with!).
I was happy with it. Don’t think we deserved to win, probably a draw at best as we didn’t really trouble their keeper but it was a good effort all things considered. We lost today, but at least we had a go today. I do not feel like crap this afternoon. Considering the absentees I am satisfied.

Me too. Thought the players did enough to make us proud. Quite a few positives from this game.We lost today, but at least we had a go today. I do not feel like crap this afternoon. Considering the absentees I am satisfied.
I dont feel like crap, but I am angry with the decisions out there, which weren't really black or white. Ok the handball I can understand because of the rules, whilst it sucks it was 1-1. It is a different level of upset for me today, but as I said before the game as long as we tried and played our football we can do, then the result didnt matter. Alas, it does for the stupid refereeing and VAR.Me too. Thought the players did enough to make us proud. Quite a few positives from this game.
Imo in part shows how much fatigue has been a major cause of our recent problems. Even with quite a few players missing today we played fairly well and particularly in the second half after the subs. Fresher legs, despite illness and players missing. Makes a big difference.
Another incredible performance from Gray in the circumstances
